Hi, Hope you have enjoyed looking around the site.

I have 5 children, 3 who live with me amongst the paint and wood and people coming and going.

My 2 older children have started living independently, so now have to wash their own clothes and cook!

My daughter Rebecca is 22 and married Paul Walkden on the 25 th of June 2011, my son Jayden, newly unsingle!! finishing an apprenticeship.

September 2010 saw me remarry,  a lovely man named Michael, so now he too is surrounded by paint and bits and pieces!

I have taught Decorative painting in various places in Queensland for over 18years, I have a home studio where i have taught for the last 14 years.

You have been able to find my designs in Magzines such as Fine art and Decorative Painting and Handmade since 2001, I also this year have some stitchery designs featured in the Country Threads magazines.I have quite a few new projects coming out in these magazines for 2011

Myself and 2 of my crafty friends, Leanne Hughes and Michelle Ridgway - fellow Handmade project contributors- get together to sell our finished work a few times a year at handmade expos. look out for Michelle and my combined projects in Country Threads and Patchwork and Stitching! we combine painted hangers with beautifuly stitched wall hangings and mini quilts.

My aim is to inspire others to not only create beauty around them,  but to give that beauty to others, it's what makes a house an inviting home, it's what makes a friend feel treasured even more, it's what brings a smile to a saddened heart. The joy of creating something beautiful gives to both the maker and to the receiver..........
